La ilusión de Nina: ENTREVISTA CON LA MODELO CARLA ALÓS - INTERVIEW WITH THE MODEL CARLA ALÓS

Carla Alós tiene 21 años, lleva 3 años y medio trabajando profesionalmente en el mundo del modelaje y su carrera no ha hecho más que despegar.

“Carla es una chica extrovertida y perfeccionista a la que le encanta el mundo de la moda.” Con estas palabras se describe a ella misma a la vez que nos confirma que viene de una familia de modelos, su madre y su tía ya formaron parte de esta profesión, pero asiente que el verdadero motivo por el que se decidió a seguir sus pasos fueron otros: “La moda siempre me ha gustado. Desde pequeña veía las revistas, las fotos, los estilos… siempre me ha encantado. Entonces un día decidí lanzarme a intentarlo y, bueno, de momento no me ha ido mal.”

A pesar de haber desfilado en varias ocasiones en la Mercedes Benz Fashion Week de Madrid para diseñadores como Ángel Schlesser, Cuto Barcelona o Paloma Suarez y realizar numerosos shootings con diferentes firmas, que compagina con sus estudios de ingeniería de diseño industrial, confiesa que su mayor reto hasta la fecha fue trasladarse a Madrid: “Al principio me daba como un poco de vértigo el venirme más a Madrid. Eso podría decir que fue un poco desafío, pero una vez que estás aquí, la verdad, es que te sientes muy arropada.”

El mundo del modelaje se encuentra en plena transición, cada vez vemos modelos de mayor edad, de diversas tallas y diferentes razas sobre las pasarelas y muchos son los titulares y comentarios al respecto. “Al final tienes que reflejar la persona que después va a vestir esa ropa. Creo que cuanta más diversidad se ve, también la marca se acerca más al público que se quiere dirigir. Realmente ese es el camino siempre dentro de cuidarse, de tener una estética, pero sí que está bien ver esa diversidad.” Analiza Carla mientras hablamos del rol y la importancia de los modelos dentro de la moda: “Creo que hay una parte de gente que te ve, un poco más, como un maniquí que se pone la ropa y ya está, pero, realmente, cuando haces un trabajo tú tienes que saber cómo lucir esa ropa, transmitir lo que el diseñador quiere. Se busca siempre una actitud.”

Carla Alós is 21 years old, has been working professionally in the modeling world for 3 and a half years and her career has only taken off.

"Carla is an extroverted and perfectionist girl who loves the fashion world." With these words she describes herself while confirming that she comes from a family of models, her mother and aunt were already part of this profession, but she nods that the real reason why she decided to follow in her footsteps were others: "I have always liked fashion. Since I was a little girl I saw the magazines, the photos, the styles... I've always loved it. Then one day I decided to give it a try and, well, so far it hasn't gone badly".

Despite having paraded on several occasions at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid for designers such as Ángel Schlesser, Cuto Barcelona or Paloma Suarez and doing numerous shootings with different firms, which she combines with her studies in industrial design engineering, she confesses that her biggest challenge to date was moving to Madrid: "At first I was a little dizzy to come to Madrid. I could say that it was a bit of a challenge, but once you're here, the truth is that you feel very supported".

The modeling world is in full transition, every time we see older models, of different sizes and different races on the catwalks and many are the headlines and comments about it. "In the end you have to reflect the person who is then going to wear those clothes. I think the more diversity you see, also the more the brand gets closer to the audience you want to target. Really that's always the way to take care of yourself, to have an aesthetic, but it's good to see that diversity." Carla analyzes as we talk about the role and importance of models within fashion: "I think there is a part of people who see you, a little more, as a mannequin that puts on the clothes and that's it, but, really, when you do a job you have to know how to wear those clothes, convey what the designer wants. You are always looking for an attitude."
